Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work across multiple sites in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The role focuses on equipment installations, process improvements, and building changes within the integrated supply chain, with a strong emphasis on safety and food quality. Responsibilities include managing projects with vendors and internal teams, ensuring GMP compliance, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing/chemical engineering or related with combined experience/education.
• 7+ years of experience with CapEx projects and Food Production environments a plus.
• Project management experience; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define and manage equipment/process/building/utility installations within the integrated supply chain.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects including contractors and internal support.
• Ensure safety, GMPs, and food quality throughout project execution.
• Travel approximately 30% to NJ and PA locations; main office centralized to plants.
• Support continual sanitary equipment design updates with FSQ/plant staff.
