Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to lead capital expenditure projects across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure safety and quality, and deliver installations on schedule in a food processing environment.

Responsibilities include working with facilities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to define scope, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvements across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or chemical engineering or related experience.
• 7+ years of CapEx project experience in a food production environment.
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and manage CapEx projects across NJ/PA sites.
• Coordinate equipment, processes, and building/utility installations.
• Ensure adherence to codes, GMPs, and food safety standards.
• Travel up to 30% to NJ and PA sites.
• Partner with vendors, facilities, and clients to optimize project execution.
