Job summary

Brindley Engineering Corporation in Lisle, IL is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to support maintenance, reliability, and capital projects across client sites or from the Lisle office. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities from award through closeout.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, 3+ years of engineering consulting experience in oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy, or manufacturing, and strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) required.
3+ years of engineering consulting experience in oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, or manufacturing.
Scheduling and planning software experience preferred.
Experience leading small teams.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned projects.
Coordinate with PMs, engineering disciplines, estimators, contractor foremen and superintendents.
Lead client and contractor interface, schedule/attend meetings, and provide written reports.
Develop scopes of work for engineered designs and ensure adherence to scope.
Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development.
