Job summary

Brindley Engineering seeks a detail-oriented, reliable team player to lead field evaluations of in-service equipment and piping systems for maintenance and reliability improvements in process-industry facilities. You will analyze, calculate, and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure.

The role requires leading field evaluations, interfacing with clients and contractors, and providing reports, with duties spanning planning, calculations, and repair recommendations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Min Yr = 8+ years.
• Licensure: P.E. preferred.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, ASME VIII Div I&2 and API 510/570/650/653, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam.
• Management: Experience mentoring and leading small teams.
• Other Skills: Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field and technical evaluations of in-service equipment and piping to provide root-cause failure analysis.
• Perform calculations, develop repair drawings, and provide repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages for construction.
• Lead Client and Contractor interface, attend meetings, and provide written reports.
• Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnaround projects.
• Assist in constructability planning, proposal and estimate development.
