Brindley Engineering Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable chemical engineer to lead and assist in process design for refinery and chemical facilities. The role involves analyzing, calculating, and designing process equipment for new or revamped units while coordinating with clients and licensed technologies.

You will develop PFDs/P&IDs, equipment specifications, and scope packages, mentor teams, and provide technical direction across disciplines.

Competenze

• Education: BS in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years.
• Licensure: P.E. preferred.
• Knowledge of P&ID development, heat and mass balances, hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations, relief device sizing, API standards and ASME codes required.
• Strong knowledge of refinery/chemical plant unit operations and licensed technologies.
• Experience mentoring and leading teams.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead field and technical evaluations of existing process units.
• Provide technical direction for refinery and chemical process units and licensed technologies.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs and provide design documentation for downstream disciplines.
• Develop equipment specifications and scope of work packages for construction.
• Lead client and contractor interface; attend meetings and provide written reports.
• Provide technical support for field execution including outage/turnaround projects.
• Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development.
