Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support delivery of construction projects in the Baltimore area. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure requirements, timelines, and quality standards are met, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field, with OSHA 30-hour certification preferred and completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals, while maintaining regular field presence to support safe work execution, including attendance at safety meetings such as stretch and flex and engagement in high‑risk activity planning and controls.
• Coordinates with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions based on established guidelines.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to the development of leading practices with guidance.
• Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.
