DPR Construction is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support successful delivery of complex projects in the Santa Clara area. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards, monitor progress, and help identify and resolve issues with adherence to safety protocols.

The role emphasizes reviewing drawings, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within moderately complex tasks.

Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• . 0-4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required.
• . OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals while maintaining field presence for safe work execution.
• Coordinates with project managers and teams to address technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances to support timely corrective actions.
• Supports implementation of standard QA and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
