Job summary

Olin is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of capital and expense projects at our Texas Operations facility in Freeport, TX. Working under senior engineers and project managers, you will help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, using FEL and regulatory practices in an OSHA PSM and EPA RMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing capital and expense project scopes, estimates, schedules, and engineering deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support application of FEL methodologies by collecting data, evaluating alternatives, and documenting risks and assumptions.
• Help coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and contractors to support safe and efficient project execution.
• Participate in tracking project progress, risks, and performance metrics and assist in preparing updates for project leadership.
• Contribute to technical reviews, hazard analyses, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement efforts with mentorship.
• Support construction, commissioning, turnover activities, and maintain proper documentation including management of change (MOC) requirements.
