• Willingness to commute/relocate to project areas.
• OSHA 30 and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations on federal construction projects including civil, site, and mechanical scopes.
• Monitor scheduling, cost tracking, and contract administration to protect budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with agencies, clients, and design teams; maintain project documentation and QC.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and manage project reporting using PM tools.

Our client is a privately held, veteran owned general contractor with more than a decade of experience. It holds both general engineering and general building licenses, along with a mechanical license, so it can self perform civil work, site work, and HVAC under one roof.

Its clients include federal agencies, public sector owners, healthcare systems, schools, and private developers. The team delivers projects through traditional bid and design build models.

Job Details

• Hands on experience in federal construction, with familiarity with agency specifications, quality control requirements, and contract documentation

Preferred qualifications

• State or municipal public works experience
• A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience
• OSHA 30 and other relevant safety certifications
• Candidates from private commercial or residential backgrounds will be considered if their experience translates to a heavy civil or federal environment
