Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm, seeks a Project Engineer (EIT) in Miami, FL to lead design and delivery for civil projects. Open to EITs and graduates with 1+ year of related experience, especially with AutoCAD/Civil3D and water resources.

Ideal candidates will work under a PE, manage plans and calculations, and ensure safety and quality across project phases from concept to delivery. Strong communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related focus.
• "> EIT highly desired and/or ability to quickly acquire post start.
• "> Proficiency in AutoCAD is highly desired; experience with Civil3D and water resources is a plus.
• "> Familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments to ensure timely completion.
• Lead design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with senior staff to identify risks and develop modification strategies.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports and schedules.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to management and clients.
• Work under supervision of a licensed PE across multiple deliverables.
