Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary engineering and architecture firm ranked among the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR, seeks a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Community Development team in Tampa, FL.

The Civil Project Engineer supports project management throughout the lifecycle, assisting with planning, design, and execution while gaining hands-on experience in best engineering practices and project management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
EI/EIT Certification required.
Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist in development of project plans including scope, timeframe, and budget.
Prepare and maintain documentation including reports, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
Ensure design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
Assist in preparation and evaluation of proposals.
Ensure projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
Prepare and present progress reports on project status.
Design and development of engineering solutions including drafting and drawings.
