Job summary

Kent Consumer Brands Americas, LLC, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is seeking a Project Engineer to drive capital investment, improve safety, quality and productivity across our manufacturing network in Muscatine, Iowa.

You will lead projects from concept through startup, work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Environmental, Safety, R&D, Finance, Sales and external partners, and manage contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, food production, or continuous process environment.
• Experience managing capital projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, installation, and startup.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and operational projects from concept through startup, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop technical solutions meeting safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Environmental, Safety, R&D, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and external partners.
• Manage contractors and vendors, coordinate field execution, ensure safety, on-time, within budget.
• Provide technical support to improve equipment reliability and performance.
