Job summary

MissionHires is seeking a Project Engineer to support project delivery from planning through closeout. In this role, you will collaborate with management and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget, manage change orders, interpret plans/specifications, assemble submittal packages, procure materials/equipment, and help select subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with CAD and MS Office.

• Collaborate with management and stakeholders; provide updates on timeline, budget, and risks.
• Manage and track change orders; ensure accuracy, documentation, and timely processing.
• Estimate schedule and cost impacts resulting from project changes.
• Interpret plans and specifications; provide technical guidance to internal teams and subcontractors.
• Assemble and submit complete submittal packages and required project documentation.
• Procure equipment, materials, and services in alignment with project requirements.
• Participate in selection and hiring of subcontractors; coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities.
• Expedite materials to maintain schedule and mitigate delays.
• Analyze and resolve complex project questions and technical problems as needed.
• Maintain organized project records, logs, and communications.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel)
