Pinemar in Ardmore, PA is seeking a highly organized Project Engineer to join our residential construction team and grow toward Project Management. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, architects, designers, trade partners, and clients to move projects from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in construction, project engineering, assistant project management, estimating, or a related field.
• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on construction experience.
• Recent graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with budgets, numbers, and detailed documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with custom residential construction and major renovations.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, selections, documentation, and project correspondence.
• Assist with subcontractor bidding, scope review, and buyout.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation.
• Track long-lead materials, selections, and procurement requirements.
• Assist with project budgets, committed costs, allowances, and cost forecasting.
• Prepare and document change orders accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate information between the field, Project Manager, architect, designer, and trade partners.
• Maintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and follow through on action items.
• Identify conflicts, missing information, and potential issues before they affect the field.
• Support scheduling and short-term project planning.
• Assist with punch lists, turnover, and closeout documentation.
• Visit jobsites regularly to understand project progress and field conditions.
