Job summary

Pinemar builds custom homes and complex renovations in Ardmore, PA. We seek a highly organized Project Engineer early in their career to gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with PMs, superintendents, architects, and clients.

Ideal for recent grads in Construction Management or related fields, with opportunities to grow toward Project Management and exposure to budgets, procurement, scheduling, and closeout. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience in construction, project engineering, assistant project management, estimating, or related field
• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on construction experience
• Recent graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with custom residential construction and major renovations
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, selections, documentation, and project correspondence
• Assist with subcontractor bidding, scope review, and buyout
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation
• Track long-lead materials, selections, and procurement requirements
• Assist with project budgets, committed costs, allowances, and cost forecasting
• Prepare and document change orders accurately and promptly
• Coordinate information between the field, Project Manager, architect, designer, and trade partners
• Maintain current drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Participate in project meetings and follow through on action items
• Identify conflicts, missing information, and potential issues before they affect the field
• Support scheduling and short-term project planning
• Assist with punch lists, turnover, and closeout documentation
• Visit jobsites regularly to understand project progress and field conditions
