Job summary

Pacific-Building-Group is seeking a Project Engineer to assist in overall project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. You will provide technical direction and ensure quality standards across projects in San Diego.

Responsibilities include document control, master schedules, permitting support, and coordination across trades and clients. A degree in a related field and 1+ year experience are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years experience as a Project Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and administer project documentation such as subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, etc.
• May create and update the Master project schedule and review look-ahead schedules by the superintendents.
• Manage field supervision and activities; assist with permitting and ensure code compliance.
• Review submittals for accuracy and conformance to specs; coordinate with related trades.
• Foster safety, health and cleanliness culture on site.
• Coordinate and schedule with clients, vendors, and IS department.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and participate in interviews.
