Innova Solutions is hiring a Project Engineer for Construction & Manufacturing in Clifton, NJ. This is a 12-month contract role (possible contract-to-hire) with onsite first shift.

The engineer will manage day-to-day tactical duties, coordinate cost/schedule/technical aspects, and serve as the main liaison between PM, planning, and line management. Ideal candidates are subject-matter experts in project management, capable of handling large, complex initiatives with minimal oversight, and

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of project management.
• Manages large, complex project initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Communicates across the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches.
• Implements improvements in processes, systems or products.
• Experience with development, maintenance, and production of large-scale Electronic Warfare systems or related technologies.
• Knowledge of lifecycle models including Waterfall and Agile.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.

A client of Innova Solutionsis immediately hiring a Project Engineer. Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Clifton, NJ 07014 (Onsite/1 st shift)

As a Project Engineer you will:

• Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs.
• Oversees and coordinates the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
• Serves as single point-of-contact between engineering project management and planning, engineering project team, and line management.
• Reviews status of engineering projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses engineering project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring engineering project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with engineering project managers, line managers, and customers.
• Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other engineering projects, missions, and programs.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management.
• Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.
• Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches.
• Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
• Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
• Experience with the development, maintenance, and production of large scale
• Electronic Warfare systems, or other relevant technologies. In depth understanding of the program lifecycle, and lifecycle models, including Waterfall and Agile.
• This position needs Active Secret Clearance

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range*:

• $125-$129/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
