Job summary

Venture General Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. The Project Engineer assists in administering contract requirements and helps plan, organize, and control technical elements of projects.

You will act as a liaison between design and field teams and support the project team with planning, management, and administration. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of construction management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 2 years of experience in a construction management role.
Procore or equivalent experience required.
Bluebeam experience required.
Ability to independently manage multiple scopes of work performed by subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Assist in administration of contract requirements and plan, organize, and control specific elements of the project.
Liaise between the design and field teams.
Develop and manage technical work plans, submittals, and manage quality control/quality assurance.
