Job summary

Venture General Contracting in Seattle is seeking a Project Engineer to support contract administration and planning on its construction projects. The PE acts as a liaison between design and field teams to ensure technical work plans and submittals are developed and executed.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years in construction management, plus working knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction management role or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Procore or equivalent and Bluebeam.
• Ability to independently manage multiple subcontractor scopes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of contract requirements and plan, organize, and control specific elements of the project.
• Serve as liaison between design and field teams.
• Develop and manage technical work plans, submittals, and quality assurance plans.

Compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000.00. About The Job The Project Engineer (PE) assists in administration of the contract requirements as well as, planning, organizing and controlling specific technical elements of the project. Our Engineers are a liaison between the design and field teams and are responsible for assisting the project team with the planning, management, and administration of the project(s) to which they are assigned. The PE works closely with the project team to develop/manage technical work plans, submittal documents, technical scopes of work, and to manage quality control/quality assurance.Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with the PM and Sr PE to assist in the administration of contract requirements and plan, organize, and control specific elements of the project
• Be a liaison between the design and field teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 2 years of experience in a construction management role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of Procore or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam
• Ability to independently manage multiple scopes of work performed by subcontractors
