Onni is seeking a Project Engineer in Chicago to lead management of construction documents, RFIs, submittals, reports, procurement, and change orders throughout construction.
You will coordinate between Project Management and Superintendent teams, assist in preconstruction, estimation, coordination, and closeout, and support field staff, subcontractors, and city officials. APMs and others collaborate daily.
The Project Engineer leads management of construction documents including drawings, RFIs, submittals, reports, procurement, change orders and other processes throughout the construction project. Additionally, the Project Engineer coordinates between the Project Management staff and Superintendent staff regarding design, procurement, schedule, field issues, and other construction items.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist in all aspects of preconstruction, estimating, coordination, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
Report to Superintendent/ Project Manager and closely work with Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, design consultants, third parties, city officials, utility companies, and other internal Onni departments.
