Onni is seeking a Project Manager in Chicago to plan, execute, and finalize residential developments, coordinating internal teams and third-party contractors to meet project objectives and quality standards. • 5-7 years of experience as a Project/Development Manager
• Associate's degree or higher in Project Management or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction and building codes
• Proficiency with MS Office and BlueBeam tools
• Ability to guide and coordinate a department with five or more employees
• Ability to interpret prints, drawings, financial and job cost reports
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

The Project Manager's role is to plan, execute, and finalize projects including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to the plan . The Project Manager defines the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle as well as responsible for outlining and implementing a project documentation and communication control program .

What You Will Do

• Responsible for directing and managing projects from beginning to the end for specific scopes of work by planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and overall closure of residential projects .
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders .
• Review s critical path , manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans and quickly adapting or accelerating project to meet deadlines .
• Draft s and submit s budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes .
• Drafts and coordinates detailed scopes for work for bid packages and contract awards.
• Plan s and schedule s project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools .
• Develop s and deliver s progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Design reviews for efficiencies and schedule improvements.
• Determine s the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Define s project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Oversee s project team including Project Coordinators, Superintendents and Project Engineers .
• Coach es , mentor s , motivate s and supervise s project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

What You Bring

• 5-7 years of experience as a Project/Development Manager
• Associate's degree or higher in Project Management or related field required
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction and building codes required
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows , BlueBeam
• Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a department with five or more employees
• Demonstrated ability to effectively run a department in an efficient manner
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, financial and job cost reports
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or clarifications from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
• Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business
• Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range

$100,000-$140,000
