AEC, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support complex commercial construction projects in Dallas, TX on site. You will work with Project Managers to track builds, review drawings, and manage submittals, change orders, and field reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and locate scope within complex drawings.
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects.
• Collaborative mindset with motivation to learn and support team members.
• Familiarity with Sage construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, contracts, and submittals to identify complete scopes of work.
• Coordinate and verify shop drawings against bid specifications and client agreements.
• Monitor project schedules and deadlines; alert PMs to risks.
• Draft change orders in Sage to reflect scope revisions.
• Collaborate with PMs on client communications, daily updates, and field reports.
• Verify interior installation materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.
