International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) in Miami, FL is seeking a Project Engineer – GC for commercial construction projects. The role supports projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring documentation, procurement and communication stay on track, on high-profile ground-up and renovation builds.

The ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of GC experience, proficiency with Procore and strong organizational skills, with a focus on coordinating with design

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of GC experience.
• Experience on commercial ground-up or major renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and project administration.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs and procurement.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete submittal review and approval process.
• Prepare, track and coordinate RFIs with the design team.
• Monitor procurement schedules and long-lead materials.
• Assist with owner, architect and subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Support scheduling, cost control and project closeout.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
