Job summary

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) in Englewood, CO is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring documentation control, schedule adherence, and field support.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ground-up project experience preferred.
• Experience reading drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Experience with General Contractors preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents through all construction phases.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts for conflicts and constructability.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedule.
• Track procurement, deliveries, and milestone dates.
• Assist with safety initiatives and quality control.

Education
