Job summary

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking a Project Engineer to drive Greenville project success from startup to closeout, overseeing scheduling, procurement, and contract execution on the jobsite.

Join our Building Business Unit to lead safety initiatives, manage drawings and submittals using Procore/Vista, and mentor onsite personnel while delivering value to owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Vista, or similar project tools.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and a commitment to jobsite safety.
• Strong reading comprehension for blueprints, problem-solving abilities, and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Risk Management: Lead weekly safety talks, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and correct unsafe acts promptly.
• Project Administration: Manage drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders using Procore and Vista.
• Procurement & Cost Control: Track material deliveries, review subcontractor proposals, and support budget tracking and invoice approvals.
• Communication & Leadership: Facilitate meetings with owners and subcontractors, build client relationships, and mentor onsite personnel.
