Job summary

TA Loving's Greenville project team is seeking a Project Engineer to drive project success from startup through closeout. You will manage scheduling, procurement, contract execution, and uphold our Safety Mindset on the jobsite.

You will coordinate with owners and subcontractors, oversee drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders using Procore and Vista, and contribute to budget tracking while mentoring onsite personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Procore, Vista and MS Office or similar project tools.
• Strong blueprint reading, problem-solving, and contract negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and a safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly safety talks and enforce site safety policies.
• Manage drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders with Procore and Vista.
• Track materials, review subcontractor proposals, and support budgets.
• Facilitate meetings with owners/subcontractors and mentor onsite staff.

Join our dynamic Building Business Unit and Greenville project team as a Project Engineer, where you will drive project success from startup to closeout. You will play a vital role in scheduling, procurement, contract execution, and maintaining our "Safe Work, No Work" mindset across the jobsite.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Safety & Risk Management: Lead weekly safety talks, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and correct unsafe acts immediately with a proactive mindset.
• Project Administration: Manage drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders using modern software like Procore and Vista.
• Procurement & Cost Control: Track material deliveries, review subcontractor proposals, and support budget tracking and invoice approvals.
• Communication & Leadership: Facilitate meetings with owners and subcontractors, build strong client relationships, and help mentor onsite personnel.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency or a fast learning curve with Microsoft Office, Procore, Vista, or similar project tools.
• Core Competencies: Strong reading comprehension for blueprints, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and skilled contract negotiation.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and an uncompromising commitment to jobsite safety.
