Messer Construction Co. is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op to support on-site activities on healthcare and higher education projects. You will assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer with project administration, document control, and field coordination.

Active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required; strong communication and organizational skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and iPad usage, are essential for success at Messer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Site and building layout
• Document control
• Quality control
• Field production analysis
• Project controls input (scheduling, cost reporting, PM solutions)
• Subcontractor and workforce coordination
• Shop drawing/submittal control
• Material and equipment expediting
• Subcontractor/supplier solicitation
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience with using an iPad
