Job summary

Messer Construction Co. is seeking Project Engineer Co-ops to join the Messer team, supporting projects at the site with primary responsibility to assist the site Project Manager and Project Engineer in management and administration of the project.

We are an employee-owned company with a long history in healthcare and higher education buildings across multiple regional offices; you will gain hands-on experience in layout, control, scheduling, cost reporting, and subcontractor coordination on

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Site and building layout
• Document control
• Quality control
• Field production analysis
• Project controls input (scheduling, cost reporting, PM solutions)
• Subcontractor and work force coordination
• Shop drawing/submittal control
• Material and equipment expediting
• Subcontractor/supplier solicitation
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience with using an iPad
