The successful candidate will have experience developing civil/site designs and preparing engineering calculations, construction documents, technical reports, and permit applications. As part of multidisciplinary project teams, this individual will oversee design work, coordinate with clients and project stakeholders, and help guide projects through all stages.
This role offers the opportunity to expand technical expertise and judgment while taking greater ownership of project coordination and deliverables. Working closely with Project Managers, the Project Engineer will support project schedules and budgets, mentor junior staff, and participate in meetings with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
FPA’s Civil/Site Department provides comprehensive design and permitting services for land development and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, roadway improvements, and erosion and sediment control.
The Project Engineer will lead assigned technical work, coordinate designs across disciplines, and guide projects through permitting, agency review, approvals, and construction . This role provides the opportunity to manage increasingly complex assignments, address design and field conditions, and develop the technical and project management experience needed to advance within FPA.

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, education, qualifications, and skill set. FPA recognizes and rewards performance through an annual bonus program.
