Rachel Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on earthwork and civil construction projects across the Midwest/Central US.

The role involves monitoring quantities and costs, maintaining schedules, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery. The candidate should have a background in construction management or civil engineering with strong organizational and collaborative skills, and be willing to travel for

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Project Manager and Superintendent on earthwork and civil projects.
• Monitor production quantities and project costs; report progress and variances.
• Conduct quality control throughout job site processes.
• Maintain project schedules by tracking progress and coordinating activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and oversee quality of work.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting and analyzing data.
• Assist with project management responsibilities across earthwork, demolition, and civil construction.
