Job summary

Plansee Group USA in Towanda, PA, is seeking a Project Manager for capital equipment installations. You will coordinate with plant engineering, maintenance and other departments to drive design, procurement, and installation while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 4–8 years of technical experience, and strong project management. Proficiency with Excel, AutoCAD, and SAP is expected. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in an Engineering discipline.
• 4-8 years of proven technical ability and experience.
• Project Management skills.
• Six Sigma and 5S skills preferred.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Excellent customer service.
• Proven team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment with plant engineering, maintenance and department personnel.
• Attend plant engineering project and safety meetings.
• Equipment and Process Design.
• Effectively communicate equipment and process engineering information to the design staff.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance, manufacturing, and plant services departments to troubleshoot equipment, instrumentation, and process problems.
• Have knowledge of OSHA and other applicable industry standards.
• Project Management of Moderately-sized Capital projects ($10k - $1M).
• Project Estimating and Budgeting.
• Time management and Gantt charting.
• Solicit and evaluate product and service quotations from various vendors.
• Interface with and direct contracted vendors during equipment and process installations.
• Participate in GTP environmental and safety activities to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.
