Job summary

Plansee Group USA Towanda site is seeking a CAD/Drafting professional to support plant engineering with capital equipment installations, maintenance and trouble shooting. You will create drawings, P&IDs, and process diagrams, while coordinating with project teams and vendors.

Applicants should have a 2-year Cad/Drafting degree with 8–12 years of experience and strong AutoCAD skills, and be comfortable working at a computer for long periods in a chemical plant setting.

Qualifications

• 2-year Cad/Drafting Degree or equivalent, 8–12 years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to work at a computer for 8 hours daily.
• Experience taking measurements in a chemical plant environments and PPE usage as required.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings – layouts, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, piping, structural, electrical, fabrication, installation.
• Review vendor equipment drawings; write material lists and purchase requisitions; track material.
• Support GTP with graphic art and provide flat patterns and part drawings.
