Job summary

Haley Ward is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, organize, and control project activities within budgets and QA/QC guidelines. Projects include municipal water, sewer, roadways, and site planning, with a focus on collaboration and client service.

You'll work on civil engineering projects from planning through implementation, requiring strong communication, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, and multi-disciplinary project management. Brookfield, CT location; competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or EIT on track with 5 years.
• Experience in site design for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (2023 or higher).
• Strong MS Office skills (Word and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to assess needs and set realistic goals.
• Work with a team of engineers performing calculations and site plans.
• Manage projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Develop proposals outlining service fees.
• Research economic alternatives for project components.
• Present applications and provide testimony to boards.
• Prepare cost estimates and reports for civil projects.
• Liaise with professionals, attorneys, developers, contractors, and agencies.
• Support principals in business development efforts.
