Job summary
Victaulic Company in Easton, PA is seeking a Project Engineer – Materials Technology to drive development and commercialization of advanced materials across product lines. You will lead polymer processing, design through prototyping, and conduct instrumented analysis (FTIR, DMA, DSC, TGA, Tensile, etc.).
The role requires hands-on engineering in plastics and polymers, with collaboration across Marketing, Sales, and supplier teams to meet customer specs and project budgets.
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical, Materials, or Polymer Engineering (MS a plus).
- MS in Chemical/Materials/Polymer Eng preferred for advanced roles.
- Strong background in polymeric material testing and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead concept generation and design of polymer-based products from concept to commercialization.
- Perform design reviews and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Coordinate multi-department teams to meet customer requirements and budgets.
- Oversee pilot runs, testing, and production issue resolution.
- Develop technical literature and train teams on new materials.
