Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Engineer (Core) to join our Advanced Facilities team on site in the Kansas City area. You will support safety, QA/QC programs, and the estimating process while coordinating with project teams to monitor crew size, materials, and equipment.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, documentation, and collaboration with trades and management to keep projects on schedule and up to standard.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to participate in safety and quality plans and culture on site.
Experience supporting estimating, change management and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

Participates in safety and quality plans and culture on the project site.
Supports QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
Assists with estimating, change management, and subcontractor proposals.
Works on site with the project team to monitor manpower, materials, and equipment.
Prepares and disseminates project documentation and reports (daily/weekly).
Posts drawings and specifications with the latest information and maintains logs.
