Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution of projects, applying fundamentals, practices, and company standards. You will contribute to general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work to understand building processes and JE Dunn workflows.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and collaboration with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors, with opportunities for growth within the Advanced Facilities team across data center,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Strong communication, written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy.
• Knowledge of required construction technology and means/methods of construction management.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Manages QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management processes.
• Supports site activities with materials, manpower and equipment tracking.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and reports.
• Maintains drawings and specifications with latest updates.
