Job summary

MFA Incorporated is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to lead planning, design and construction for MFA locations in Missouri. You will oversee building repairs, infrastructure projects, and equipment installations while coordinating with the insurance team for claim analysis.

The role requires a BS in engineering, a MO PE license (or ability to obtain), and about 5 years of related experience. On-site engineering with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in accredited engineering program.
• MO Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and construct location facilities.
• Oversee repairs to buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate NH3 emergency shut-off system installations.
• Prepare cost estimates within 10% of actual costs.
• Procure equipment and support beta testing of new controls.

They will read and interpret legal descriptions, building and equipment drawings, plans, and specifications, as well as plan, design, specify, procure, and/or construct physical assets for MFA operations at all locations. This also includes planning, building construction, equipment construction, site planning, budgeting, and estimating. Additionally, they will provide engineering and technical assistance for processes such as material handling and chemical handling.
