Job summary

Metric Geo is partnering with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure construction firm to support a Project Engineer across the region. This role offers an early-career engineer hands-on exposure to large-scale projects, working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on major infrastructure initiatives.

You will assist with reviewing drawings, performing quantity take-offs, coordinating materials, and maintaining thorough project documentation, while contributing to site safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; internships or co-ops in heavy civil construction a plus.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and field team through all phases of construction.
• Review drawings and specifications and assist in interpreting them for field crews.
• Perform quantity take-offs and track completed/installed work.
• Assist with scheduling, work packages, and material coordination.
• Maintain project documentation, submittals, and as-built records.

Metric Geo has partnered with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure construction firm, that are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support public and private projects throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on exposure to large-scale construction while working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country.
