Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Project Engineer to support public and private infrastructure projects across the region. This role offers hands-on exposure to large-scale construction while working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents on some of the region's most significant projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, have 0–3 years of experience, strong communication and attention to detail, and are proficient with Microsoft Office;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; internships or co-ops in heavy civil construction a plus.
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and field team through all phases of construction.
• Review drawings and specifications and assist in interpreting them for field crews.
• Perform quantity take-offs and track completed/installed work.
• Assist with scheduling, work packages, and material coordination.
• Maintain project documentation, submittals, and as-built records.
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox meetings.

Metric Geo has partnered with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure construction firm, that are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support public and private projects throughout the region.
