Blueprint Staffing is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in the Alexandria, VA area. The role focuses on supporting daily operations, supervising sites, and improving project management efficiency.

Responsibilities include quality control, safety, and coordination with architects and subs, with a salary range of $75,000 to $95,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem solving and ability to multi task under pressure.
• Construction accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to build client relationships.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-focused, able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office and PDF editing tools (Bluebeam, Adobe).

Responsibilities

• Inspect work by trade partners and ensure quality control.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, security, and safety.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Help enforce project schedules and source materials.
• Create and manage RFIs and submittals with property managers and clients.

• The estimated pay range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect work performed by trade partners and ensure quality control measures are upheld.
• Manage jobsite cleanliness, security, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve project challenges efficiently.
• Assist in enforcing project schedules and procure necessary materials for ongoing projects.
• Create, manage, and report on RFIs and submittals while interfacing with property managers and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to multi-task effectively under pressure.
• Construction accounting experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to foster deep relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and PDF editing tools (Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.).
• Self-motivated and organized, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
