Job summary

All 5’s Construction is seeking Project Engineers to join our Concrete, Specialties, or Door, Frames and Hardware teams in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators from inception to closeout.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in construction, a high school diploma (Construction Management degree preferred), and familiarity with OSHA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant construction industry experience or a related degree.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
  • Experience with specialty scopes: concrete or door, frames and hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining project document logs for RFIs, drawings, submittals, etc.
  • Coordinate and track distribution and storage of project engineering documents.
  • Collaborate with Estimator to understand estimating concepts.
  • Assist in understanding, developing, and maintaining the project budget and financial management.
  • Attend project, client, vendor, and team meetings as required.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other parties.

Description

All 5’s Construction is seeking Project Engineers to join our Concrete, Specialties, or Door, Frames and Hardware teams in Las Vegas, NV!

An All 5’s Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the project teams with all project goals, from inception to closeout. The Project Engineer will provide both technical and administrative assistance to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Estimator as required.

To perform this role successfully, the ideal candidate will:

  • Order, track, and maintain all tool, material and equipment inventories and costs.
  • Initialize and keep up to date the project document logs for RFIs, Drawings, Submittals, etc.
  • Partner with Estimator to develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of estimating concepts.
  • Assume responsibility for coordinating and tracking the distribution and storage of all projects engineering documents, including drawing sets, specifications, sketches, ASIs, permits, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to understand, create, and maintain the Master Project Schedule.
  • Assist in maintaining an excellent relationship with OSHA and be familiar with OSHA regulations.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent in collecting and reviewing subcontractor quality control plans and invoices.
  • Assist the Project Manager in understanding, developing, and maintaining the project budget and financial management. Develop a thorough understanding of project cost codes and cash flow.
  • Assist the Superintendent to complete the punch list process.
  • Obtain and turn over to the Client all contractually required closeout submittals from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Attend project, client, vendor, and team meetings as required.
  • Develop strong relationships with our clients, client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and other parties.
  • Document job site conditions.
  • Foster communication and teamwork and provide a safe work environment by exemplifying Company core values and procedures.

We trust that you have:

  • High school diploma required. Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience working in the construction industry, or degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working within specialty scopes, concrete, or door, frames and hardware.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
  • Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with construction software is a plus.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace within time constraints while keeping professional composure and ensuring timely follow up as necessary.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectivey both verbally and in writing to team members, clients, and vendors.
