Job Description:

Job Title: Contracts & Engineering Project Coordinator

Location: Hybrid – Based in/around St. Louis, MO or Columbia, MO with up to 25% Travel

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

About the Role:

We seek a proactive Contracts & Engineering Project Coordinator to support our growing operations. Responsibilities include managing RFQs, supporting technical product planning, coordinating quotes, identifying new business opportunities through government portals, and communicating with customers and our business development team. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and understands engineering fundamentals and federal contracting processes, with customer-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and disseminate RFQs to internal teams or sister companies.
  2. Consolidate quotes from multiple entities and compile customer quote packages.
  3. Identify suppliers and external service providers; gather and manage external quotes.
  4. Follow up on submitted quotes to ensure timely delivery.
  5. Research and identify new business opportunities via DIBBS, SAM.gov, SBIRs, and Broad Agency Announcements.
  6. Collaborate with lead generation to pursue high-value opportunities requiring multiple capabilities.
  7. Engage with customers on business development projects and participate in events like trade shows.
  8. Support technical product development, including defining plans, generating 3D CAD models, organizing testing, and supporting prototypes and first article submissions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, government contracting, or RFQ processes.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and vendors.
  • Familiar with government procurement platforms like DIBBS and SAM.gov.
  • Strong project coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage data, quotes, and relationships with suppliers/vendors.
  • Bonus: Technical background or engineering education/experience; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
