Komline is seeking a Project Engineer at our Michigan facility to drive design and documentation for equipment and services. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, manage BoM and specifications, and interface with vendors and customers to meet project needs.
You’ll participate in planning, scheduling and field installation activities as needed. The role requires a BS in engineering and hands-on experience with SolidWorks and CAD tools, plus strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Project Engineers focus on ensuring all design documentation related to the construction of equipment, products and services are generated and distributed to appropriate parties to ensure successful completion. The position participates in all aspects of project related activities from drawing and BoM management, shop drawings, timeline generation, cost management, in-shop acceptance testing, and field commissioning.
A successful candidate will have the knowledge and capability to interface with a cross‑functional team of engineers to successfully meet customer expectations. The candidate shall possess sufficient knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication practices to support and execute various product development and construction projects.
Travel is not expected to be more than 10% of time in calendar year but may vary as project complexity and location changes. International travel may be required at times.
