Job summary

Komline is seeking a Process Engineer I to support the design, development, and optimization of membrane treatment equipment in Venice, FL. You will work with senior engineers to integrate engineering principles with manufacturing processes and deliver client-specific solutions for municipal and industrial applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or pursuing a degree with progress and transcripts.
  • Basic understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Familiarity with drafting software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving attributes.
  • Effective communication and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift parts with or without assistance up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and configuration of membrane treatment equipment.
  • Support development of system layouts, P&ID’s, and equipment specifications.
  • Support proposal development by contributing to the review of project specifications and development of cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost effective.
  • Prepare technical submittals, drawings, and documentation for client approval.
  • Assist with factory testing and on-site commissioning of equipment.
  • Create technical documentation and manuals for equipment.
  • Provide technical support to sales and field service teams.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding product availability, technical specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines for aftermarket components and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including plant managers, maintenance supervisors, and procurement personnel at customer facilities.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and service contracts that enhance customer operations and drive recurring revenue.

The Process Engineer I will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and optimization of membrane treatment equipment with guidance from senior engineering staff. The Process Engineer will focus on integrating engineering principles with manufacturing treatment technologies, supporting product design, system layout, and client-specific solutions for municipal and industrial applications.
