Job Details

We are currently seeking an innovative and dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in exciting projects while working in a team of seasoned engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our projects to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small to large-scale projects in coordination with the project manager.
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
  • Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
  • Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems or deficiencies.
  • Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
  • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
  • Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
  • Perform or oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
  • Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
  • Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Familiar with scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
  • Excellent mathematical skills.
  • Ability to manage a team of professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think methodically and to manage projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work as part of a team and to lead one.
  • Proficient in design software.
  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
  • Current engineer license.
  • Time management and organization skills.
