Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Technical Problem-Solver who thrives in fast-paced construction environments to support data center projects. The role centers on project engineering, coordinating submittals and change orders, and ensuring schedules, safety, and quality are met on complex HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.

You will lead teams, liaise with stakeholders, and leverage project management tools to drive on-time delivery and cost control across multiple projects in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, focused on project engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, submittals, change orders, and QA procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations in construction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  3. Handle submittals and change orders, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Oversee construction management, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

  6. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure that all project objectives are met.
  7. Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process, using problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  8. Provide regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
  1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project engineering.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including submittals, change orders, and quality control procedures.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a team.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  7. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.
  8. A strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
  9. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
