Job summary

Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions. This contract position is based out of Plano, TX, but is a fully remote opportunity.

The candidate will support project execution, coordinate with customers and vendors, and travel internationally for projects as needed. Bilingual Mandarin and English are required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution per the project plan under the Project Manager.
• Assist with key project controls: schedule, cost, quality.
• Oversee on-site contractors and vendors.
• Communicate with customers to maintain satisfaction.
• Review deliverables, identify issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop, organize, and maintain project documentation.
• Deliver on-site operational and technical training to customer personnel.
• Ensure activities meet codes, practices, policies and specs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project execution in accordance with the established project plan and under the direction of the Project Manager. Responsibilities may include facility/site layout, engineering design, site preparation, mobile robot and system commissioning, customer training, remote technical support, and production support.
• Assist with key project controls, including schedule, cost, and quality.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of on-site contractors and vendors.
• Communicate closely with customers throughout the project to maintain strong working relationships and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Review project deliverables, identify issues or gaps, and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop, organize, and maintain complete project documentation.
• Deliver on-site operational and technical training to customer personnel.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables meet applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in an engineering or technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering/Computing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in business and commercial negotiations.

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $55.00/hr.
