Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. is seeking a Project Engineer to support a growing commercial construction team across the San Francisco Bay Area, from San Francisco to San Jose and Oakland.

You will work with Project Managers and field teams to manage the project lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in preconstruction, execution, and closeout. The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years in commercial construction, with a degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, and change orders; knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with all aspects of projects from bidding through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractor bidding, assist with estimating self performed work, and prepare proposals.
• Assist with prime contracts and subcontract administration.
• Manage and coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain communication between office, field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist with owner invoicing and review subcontractor invoices.
• Support project scheduling, documentation, and overall project coordination.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project team members.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering successful projects.

About the Role

We are actively seeking Project Engineers to join a growing commercial construction team working on projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, from San Francisco to San Jose and Oakland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer who understands the fundamentals of construction project management, takes initiative, and brings a positive, can do attitude to the team. You will work closely with Project Managers and field teams throughout the project lifecycle, gaining hands on experience across preconstruction, project execution, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with all aspects of projects from bidding through project closeout

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
