Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of construction industry experience.
  • Internship, co‑op, union, mechanical contracting, or MEP‑related experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both office and field personnel.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the mechanical construction industry.
  • Experience working alongside foremen, superintendents, or construction field teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and field teams throughout all phases of construction.
  • Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project tracking.
  • Help monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress.
  • Review drawings and specifications to support project execution.
  • Participate in field coordination and problem‑solving activities.
  • Work closely with engineering, BIM, fabrication, and construction teams.

The Opportunity

The Project Engineer will support project teams in the successful execution of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of experience who are eager to learn, develop technical expertise, and grow within a collaborative organization.
