Job summary

Powers & Sons Construction in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Internship or co-op experience in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with day‑to‑day project coordination and administration.
• Support the management of RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and material deliveries.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting notes and action items.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Assist with quality control and safety compliance efforts.
• Help maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Support project closeout activities including punch lists and documentation.
• Learn and apply construction management best practices and company procedures.

Position Summary
